1) Name and explain the 7 commons dimensions of religion (introduced by Ninian Smart, the scholar of the academic field of Religious Studies).

2) Provide one specific example for each dimension (e.g baptism, Christianity). The examples can belong to one particular religious tradition or to various religious traditions. Ensure that you provide a bit of explanation for each example ( e.g. significance, meaning, ...)

3) Imagine that you are going to start studying a new religion ( a religion that you know nothing about it). Which two dimensions do you pick to study first? Explain why you will start with those 2 specific dimensions.
