Explain synthesizing 2-choloro-3-methylbutane

Assignment Help Chemistry
Reference no: EM13226251

Provides as many reasonable ways as possible of synthesizing 2-choloro-3-methylbutane as the major substrate product starting with substrates that contain 3 or more carbon atoms (plus associated non-carbon atoms). Redundant pathways such as simply replacing ethoxide or methoxide as a base will not be considered.

Do not need to show any mechanisms but need to show the reactants substrate products and rxn condition at each step.
