Explain Security of website

Phase 3 Discussion Board 2

I have the following task, and I need some help getting started: Write a 400-550 words for the following topic.

Details: Stephen is still not convinced that security is an important issue, and he bluntly tells you that he doesn't have the budget for an elaborate security plan or complex security tools. How can you protect the Grandma's Treats website and customer privacy with as little expense as possible? Research the Internet and all other materials at your disposal.

Post your comments to at least two other postings. Each comment must be at least 250 words in length. Use the 2X2 matrix to comment, i.e. two things you liked about the posting, and two things the student could have included to improve the posting including errors or excluding erroneous information.

In your own words, please post a response to the Discussion Board and comment on other postings. You will be graded on the quality of your postings.

Points Possible: 75
Date Due: Friday, Oct 31, 2008
Objective: Discuss the problems surrounding E-commerce such as security and privacy.
Use effective communication techniques.

Submitted Files: Discussion Board

Score: N/A

Instructor Comments: The usual DB rules apply--a main post (using citations and references) and two reply posts (each 250 words minimum, 2x2). Do not upload a document into the DB. Make sure your Similarity Score does not exceed 25%. Do not use Wikipedia or any other online encyclopedia-type or dictionary sources for your citations and references. Mention specific prices (dollar amounts) for specific solutions. Consider some of the elements from the first two Tasks of this Phase.
