Visit a Subway sandwich location and observe the product creation and customer service processes in place there and write your reflection. Based upon your observations of the Subway^TM processes, prepare a short paper.

Part 1 . From your field research, identify and describe an example for each of the following lean principles and tools that you observed in practice (per valid example) --

i. Visual Management.

ii. Pull production.

iii. Assemble to order.

iv. Work load balance/production leveling (you may have to visit at a busy and a slack time for comparison).

v. Kanban.

vi. Quick changeover.

viii. Employee flexibility/Cross Training.
