A solution of 0.1% sodium dodycl sulfate (SDS) binds so strongly to polypetide chains that one detergent molecule is sufficient to saturate two amino acid residues. For a protien with a molecular weight of 60,000 in 0.1% SDS, estimate the effect on the eletrical charge per protein molecule.
