c) Iron metal is dropped into a solution of hydrochloric acid, forming iron (III) chloride.

2. A drop of silver nitrate solution is placed onto the wellplate, and the drop turns a cloudy white. Is the silver nitrate reacting with the plastic of the wellplate? If not, what is the most likely explanation for this occurence?
