Question:- Background: Tess and Ray decide to marry. Case study Part A : Ray has an old ring that belonged to his Mother. He decides to have his buddy, Roger, who is a jeweler take out some stones and add a larger diamond and some diamond enhancers to present to Tess as their engagement ring. Ray and Roger are friends, so nothing was signed. Ray's plan was to pay him in cash when it was finished. When Ray sees the ring, he hates it and refuses to pay Roger, the $800 he was asking for. Roger still had the ring in his possession. Ray says he is not liable to Roger, since the contract was oral. a. Is the oral contract enforceable? Explain. b.
