Imagine you are the teacher from the article "Grades are Not Paramount to Student Achievement". Write a letter to parents to be given on the first day of school that explains your grading policy (no grading for the first four weeks; just providing feedback). In the letter, be sure to explain extrinsic and intrinsic motivation and what you hope to accomplish by not grading in the beginning of the term.
