Persuasive Email
Professional Persuasive Email You are an intern for DinDjarin Hunting and Trapping Incorporated. DinDjarin is a moderately complex business and functions in a semi-structured way. The company maintains a club culture, which means that the organization is very particular about the people they recruit and hire. People are hired based on their specialization, educational qualifications, and interests. The company promotes high potential employees, and appraisals are a regular part of the culture. Furthermore, DinDjarin Inc. is becoming a more culturally diverse organization by hiring people of different social, ethnic, gender, sexual orientation, and levels of able-bodiedness. The company is also expanding its hunting and trapping product lines to several new countries. You want to attend a 3-day Diversity Retreat to learn more about diversity and inclusion and would like the company to cover the cost. You've run the idea past your supervisor, who is supportive but will need to get the final approval from their manager. For this, you'll need to make your case persuasively and in writing.
An email proposal to your supervisor requesting that the company cover the cost of the retreat.
Convince the decision-maker (your manager's manager) that the content will be worth paying for.
Your email should look like an email in format with a "to" line, "subject" line, a proper salutation, body, and a signature block.
