Methyl methacrylate was polymerized at mass concentration of 200 gdm^-3 in toluene using azobisisobutyronitril as initiator at a mass concentration of 1.64*10^-2gdm-3 and a reaction temperature of 60 degrees C. Calculate the initial rate of polymerization and the molar mass of the poly (methyrl methacrylate) formed in the initial stages of the reaction given that the relevant rate cofficients at 60 degrees are: Initiator dissociation kd=8.5X10^-6 s-1 Propagation kp=833dm^3mol-1s-1 Termination, kt=9.3*10^6 dm^3 mol-1s-1 Transfer to monomer kum=3.93*10^-3dm^3mol-1s-1 Transfer to solvent kus=7.34*10^-3 dm^3 mol-1s-1 Assume that the initiator efficiency f=.7 that termination by combination is negligible and that the density of the initial solution of MMA in toluene is 860 gdm^-3
