Assignment:

A reproductive specialist has several new patients to see today. A brief history is given of each patient.

Patient A: Is a male who was in a severe car accident 6 months ago, that resulted in a traumatic brain injury. Further testing showed that there was no damage to his hypothalamus, but now can no longer produce mature sperm.

Patient B: Is a female patient who has had a few urinary tract infections in the past year, it has been 18 months since her last menstruation. She is currently experiencing hot flushes, and insomnia.

Patient C: Is an adult male patient with one undescended teste. He is otherwise healthy, and appears to have normal sexual function.

Patient D: Is a female patient who has been diagnosed with endometriosis. She experiences heavy, painful periods every menstrual cycle. She has been trying to conceive for over a year with no success.

Question: For each patient, explain how the information from their clinical notes may affect their reproductive function and/or explain some of their symptoms.
