Mr Zaki and Mr Vincent are the members of board of directors of Zeeco Bhd. Mrs Xalia (Mr Zaki's ex-wife) is the mother of their two sons (Shahrul and Shamsul). Mr Zaki and Mrs Xalia divorced amicably and their extended families frequently socialise together. Shahrul, a university student, lives with Mrs Xalia and spends every second weekend and half of his holidays with Mr Zaki and Mrs Wana (Mr Zaki's new wife). Outside of the semester term, Shahrul works as an office assistant at Zeeco Bhd. Shamsul lives with Mr Zaki and is serving an apprenticeship with Zeeco Bhd. Mrs Wana is a commission-based sales agent for Zeeco Bhd, and the mother of Mr Zaki's daughter (Dahlia). Outside of the school term, Dahlia occasionally operates a cash register at Zeeco Bhd. Mrs Wana's daughter, Danisa from a previous marriage (ie to Mr Yahya) is a university student. Dahlia lives with Mr Zaki and Mrs Wana. Mr Zaki's mother, Puan Mariani also lives with Mr Zaki and Mrs Wana. Miss Xalia isremarried and has a daughter (Damia) with her new husband (Mr Hanafi). Mr Hanafi and Mrs Xalia are directors of Meejo Bhd which is one of the suppliers of raw materials to Zeeco Bhd.
