A 12G system board has been replaced. Now, the personality module must manually be restored. Put the following general steps in the correct order.
Download and extract the Personality Module file from the product reference materials.
Verify the branding changes requested in the Personality Module file were applied (during boot, on the iDRAC GUI and on the system).
During the Power-On Self-Test (POST), the system applies the Personality Module and automatically reboots again. If In-System Characterization is enabled, an additional reboot may occur during the process.
Log in to the iDRAC GUI. In the iDRAC Settings section, click Update and Rollback. In the Firmware Update tab, upload and install the Personality Module file.
If Reboot iDRAC after Update was selected, wait for the iDRAC reboot to complete. Otherwise, reboot manually.
