1. This Assignment takes place over 2 weeks. In order to complete it, you take on the role of someone who a current CIO is grooming to take over a position in a company. To that end, the CIO is delegating tasks to you to give you practice for the role. Today, the CEO asked the CIO, who in turn asked you, to present a brief at next week's Board of Directors meeting in which you analyze a contemporary technology.

For the meeting, you need to prepare a research-based PowerPoint presentation. You also will need to prepare a separate annotated bibliography document, which is a list of the articles that you have selected and that will help your audience understand the technology and associated issues that you are presenting. This document is important-and expected-as the Board likely will want to read the source material for themselves after your presentation.

This Week, you consider the following presentation topics, purpose, and audience, and create an outline of your presentation to submit to your Instructor for feedback.

• Presentation topic: Bring Your Own Device (BYOD).

(EXAMPLE) Bring your own device (BYOD) is starting to take shape in the federal government. At Department of Treasury, they are already offering this for people who would like to cut down on the number of cell phones they have to carry. All you have to do is let security scan your phone, and the IT department add it to the Enterprise network so all work emails can come to your phone.
