• The importance of professional appearance and first impressions. Think about this broadly, not just focusing on your personal appearance (although this is important), but how the office (employees, waiting room, front desk, examination rooms) presents itself professionally.
• The value of compassionate professionalism in the medical office. When a patient is sick, they do not want to be treated poorly; they want to be treated with compassion and comfort. Keeping the above scenario in mind, provide ideas how you would provide a great experience to the patient.
