4,4-dimethyl-2-cyclohexen-1-one is the final product from this lab and it is made from 2-Methylpropanal and 3-buten-2-one. The theoretical yield of water collected from the stillehead (which contained water and toluene)is 0.5mL. Also, at the end 1.31 g of 4,4-dimethyl-2-cyclohexen-1-one was obtained. My question how to calculate percent yield for 4,4-dimethyl-2-cyclohexen-1-one and theoretical yield for this lab.
