Question:
In a written paper of 1,200-1,500 words, apply the concepts of epidemiology and nursing research to a communicable disease.
Communicable Disease Selection
Choose one communicable disease from the following list:
1. Chickenpox
2. Tuberculosis
3. Influenza
4. Mononucleosis
5. Hepatitis B
6. HIV
Epidemiology Paper Requirements
Include the following in your assignment:
1. Description of the communicable disease (causes, symptoms, mode of transmission, complications, treatment) and the demographic of interest (mortality, morbidity, incidence, and prevalence).
2. Describe the determinants of health and explain how those factors contribute to the development of this disease.
3. Discuss the epidemiologic triangle as it relates to the communicable disease you have selected. Include the host factors, agent factors (presence or absence), and environmental factors. (The textbook describes each element of the epidemiologic triangle).
4. Explain the role of the community health nurse (case finding, reporting, data collecting, data analysis, and follow-up).
5. Identify at least one national agency or organization that addresses the communicable disease chosen and describe how the organization(s) contributes to resolving or reducing the impact of disease.
A minimum of three references is required.
Refer to "Communicable Disease Chain" and "Chain of Infection" for assistance completing this assignment.
Prepare this assignment according to the APA guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required.

Velocity of the block of mass m after the collision
: A block of mass m and initial speed collides elastically with a block of mass 2m which is initially at rest. Assuming the positive direction is to the right and that there is no friction among the blocks and the surface, what is the velocity of the b..

The x-axis therefore that total electric force it vanishes
: Two point charges are fixed in space along the x-axis. The first charge of 3.8 µC is located at x = - 4.5 cm, while the second charge of -5.6 µC is located at x = 3.5 cm. Where must a third charge (with charge 1 µC) be placed on the x-axis therefore ..

The collision the speed of both blocks
: A block slides to the right by speed V on a frictionless floor and collides with a bigger block which is initially at rest. After the collision the speed of both blocks is V/3 in opposite directions. Is the collision elastic?

Oscilloscope tube is traveling horizontally with a speed
: An electron in an oscilloscope tube is traveling horizontally with a speed of 4.1×106m/s . It passes through a 2.0cm long region with an electric field pointing upward by a magnitude of 1700N/C. What is the magnitude of the electron’s velocity when i..

Potential difference in volts among origin and that point
: An electron moving parallel to x axis has an initial speed of 2.57x106 m/s at the origin. Its speed is reduced to 2.72x105 m/s at the point x=2.02cm. Compute the potential difference, in Volts, among the origin and that point.

Balls repel each other so that separation among their center
: Two equally charged insulating balls each weigh 0.22 g and hang from a common point by identical threads 25 cm long. The balls repel each other so that the separation among their centers is 6.0 cm. What is the magnitude of the charge on each ball?
