Case Study: Data visualization is a great way to gain insights and understanding from your data. However, when you combine visualization with numerical measures, you actually get more insights and meaning from the data. There are many numerical measures you can calculate for your data, and based on different factors, some of them will be more appropriate. Envision two students in a class with two scores for the same exam: One student scores 1 out of 10 and the other 10 out of 10. The average for the two scores does not represent anything meaningful unless you include the standard deviation along with that number to provide the width or the range of these numbers. Chapter 8 in the textbook introduces many of these data measures, how to calculate them, and the suitability of these measures for different scenarios. List at least five different numerical measures as presented in Chapter 8 of your textbook or based on your research. For each of these five numerical measures, use a Level Heading to organize your paper and address each of the following requirements:
