In the prison experiment, explain how the statuses of prisoner and guard, and their accompanying roles, shaped the behavior of the subjects in the Zimbardo experiment. Be specific- in what ways did the men's behaviors undergo transformations based on the assigned status and attached roles? Don't just state the obvious, such as "those assigned the prisoner status could not go home at night" or "those assigned guard status acted like guards"- look for more remarkable behaviors/reactions/actions which are truly transformations from the way the men would be expected to behave in normal circumstances. Also, I am looking not just for what they were forced or expected to do, but what the reactive behaviors were.
