Theatre is a powerful art form and has often been feared by the leadership or political organizations of societies. In chapter 2 of the textbook, you have also seen that politics had an impact on Elizabethan theatre and the Beijing Opera. For this assignment, you will need to do some research either on-line or at a library.
EXAMINE the theatres or films produced in the current or previous century (20th or 21st centuries only) in a country/culture outside of the United States in which political strife, military strife, or social upheaval has impacted the arts in that country.
