Individuals and families facing discrimination based on gender, sex, or sexuality: women, LGBTQ+ people, sexual minority groups
Jasmine is an adolescent 13-year-and-5-month-old biracial bisexual female. Jasmine is a strong strong-willed individual. Jasmine is very independent. Jasmine likes to listen to music. Jasmine can form friendships easily. However, sometimes Jasmine exhibits poor boundaries with her peers. Jasmine has a history of displaying physical and verbal aggression. Jasmine made an outcry of sexual abuse by her aunt's husband. Her aunt's husband was the perpetrator. Jasmine's older sister, who was also living in the home, made an outcry against the aunt's husband as well.
The report was made in 2023. The aunt didn't believe Jasmine and her sister. Jasmine currently lives at a residential treatment center located in Spring, Texas. She is in Child Protection Service care and has lived at this residential treatment center for one month. She was removed from her biological parents when she was six and placed with her aunt and husband. Jasmine is a 13-year-old and 5-month-old biracial female who made an outcry of sexual abuse by her uncle. Jasmine reported being physically and sexually abused. Jasmine has a history of displaying physical and verbal aggression.
Jasmine is very outspoken. She is not afraid to tell what she is thinking or feeling. She doesn't like to talk about her personal things. Jasmine is resistant to exploring the factors contributing to her behaviors and emotions. Jasmine is also resistant to therapy and continues to refuse therapy sessions. Jasmine is very athletic and loves sports. She loves to take naps and eat her favorite snacks. Jasmine loves to go on outings and participate in extracurricular activities. In the past, she had problems with school and completing her work. But with sports and positive encouragement, Jasmine applies herself and completes her tasks. She is an A/B student. Jasmine enjoys being complimented, and she is approval-seeking. Jasmine is very interested in being adopted.

Give an exmple of at least 1 legitimate resource that social workers or community members could use to find more information about evidence-informed practice related to cultural needs or interventions for individuals and families from the selected population.
