CONTINUOUS TIME LINEAR SYSTEMS

Course Description

This course makes use of mathematical tools to describe and analyze signals and systems. It lays the foundation for the study of signal processing and control systems among others.

Course Objectives

The objectives of this course are, to:

1. Study the different kinds of fundamental signals used in systems modeling theory and signal processing

2. Study the mathematical description and analysis of linear systems

3. Learn the behavior of different systems when excited by the fundamental signals

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course the students should be able to:

1. Demonstrate the use and importance of the different fundamental signals

2. Explain how linear systems are modeled

3. Analyse Continuous Time linear systems
