4. Termination Procedure
1. Please make sure you have the following in the body of your email-
- Purpose of the meeting
- What are the issues ( for example- late arrival at work, ongoing poor work performance and etc)?
- What was she offered from the company to support her?
- What did not she access?
- Mention that You want to jointly plan a solution with her for this underperformance problem.
2. Please make sure you have the following in the body of your email-
- Purpose of the meeting
- What were the issues?
- Explain how her late arrival will have an impact on the workplace ( Please search in google - how late arrival and poor performance can have an impact at workplace. For example- failure to perform the duties by designated time, failure to perform the duties to the desired quality and standard, Non- compliance with workplace policies and etc)
- Mention what Janice's strengths are ( for example- high quality work, work consistency and etc)
- What support services are available from the company for her?
- Mention to Janice that it is the part of her contractual requirements to commence work on time.
3. Termination letter- Please search in Google for sample Termination letter Template and fill out with your assessment company's circumstances. I have attached three sample copies. Feel free to choose one, but make sure that you change the wordings.
4. Termination Procedure - Please search in Google for sample Termination Procedure. Make sure that You at least have the following 5 steps with detailed explanations in your procedure-
- Desired performance and behaviours
- Issue identification and issue explanations
- Providing written Warnings
- Termination letter creation
- Meeting with employee to provide termination letter
