Question

A new hire, who would be described as a typical introvert, just graduated college (thus not a lot of experience) and is working for the prestigious IBM Research and Development. She was one of three hires out of 373 applicants to apply for the position. Although she works long hours and has tight deadlines for completing product development activities, she has a degree of confidence in her abilities. Because IBM is considering increasing its product offerings (and venturing into cellular technology), new employees are on the way (will take three months) but she is still doing most of this work on her own right now. All of her work deadlines have caused her to be late with reports analyzing the competition. Further, IBM uses a tight corporate job structure.
