Most women (and men) do not meet federal dietary guidelines (Krebs-Smith, 2010). Diets that do not meet these guidelines can contribute to obesity and many other chronic diseases. Lets examine why women are not meeting these guidelines:

1. Why do you believe women are not meeting these guidelines (in other words, why are women not eating healthy)? Rank three contributing factors in order of importance.

2. Discuss each barrier in detail and explain how each is contributing to our eating habits. Justify your ranking, why did rank one as more important than the other.
