Discussion Post: Descartes Meditations

Explain in two paragraphs the following question

Of the arguments that Descartes uses to show that (almost) all of our knowledge is subject to doubt, which seemed the strongest? Why?

Also, explain how Descartes arrives at his one "indubitable truth."

Reply to this coment "The strongest argument Descartes uses to demonstrate that almost all of our knowledge is subject to doubt is the "Cogito" or "I think, therefore I am" argument. Through doubt and deep reflection, he questions everything, including his senses and the possibility of deception. However, the one thing he cannot doubt is the fact that he is doubting, which proves the existence of a thinking self-the "I." This simple yet powerful indubitable truth becomes the foundation for rebuilding his knowledge and understanding of the world."
