Question: Apply knowledge of quality assessment and management tools to collect and present data for quality management, utilization review, resource management, risk management, and other healthcare purposes.

Peer-reviewed research in health care is not limited to medical conditions. Research focusing on clinical and administrative data is not only valuable for administrative purposes but can have a direct impact on how patient care is delivered.

In this discussion, we have to provide information in our primary post, to be analyzed by our classmates. Review the Peer Response Guidelines (below) to ensure our peer responses meet criteria.

Identify a peer-reviewed research article that clearly includes data collection and analysis as part of the research process. The article may be on any topic, but a few ideas you may use are:
