- Review the web pages for the Virginia and the National CTSO in your program area (e.g., marketing, technology education). The links for these CTSOs are on the Virginia DOE site.
As you review these materials, answer the following questions in complete sentences and submit to Canvas. Limit your response to two pages, double spaced.
1. Explain how CTSOs are co-curricular. Explain how this is different from extra-curricular activities.
2. How can CTSO activities be used to recruit students for your program?
3. Describe how CTSO participation may save teachers time.
4. Educators Rising is the newest CTSO. Explain how Educators Rising might be used with other CTSOs (e.g., DECA, TSA) and extra-curricular activities (e.g., robotics teams, sports, school clubs) to get students into the teaching profession.
