Question: One possible short-term solution to the Friday night problems is to divert Kye, one of the kitchen hands, to the front of house to help the servers. Kye knows the menu and is good with people, and he has a current Responsible Service of Alcohol. Taking someone from the kitchen to the front of house is not usual procedure at "The Little Pub" and it's not ideal, but it is an option and Kye is keen to do it. Looking now at the long-term impacts of the problems, as identified in Task 1.3, explain how a shift supervisor should put potential solutions into action.
