The reaction SO3(g) + H2O(l)---> H2SO4(aq) is the last step in the commercial production of sulfuric acid. The enthalpy change for this reaction is -227kJ. In designing a sulfuric plant, is it necessary to provide for heating or cooling of the reaction mixture? I don't understand the concept of enthalpy and how it applies to this question.
2.05 mL of a sodium hydroxide solution is needed to react completely with 0.5210 g of KHP (molar mass+204.22) What is the concentration of the sodium hydroxide solution
What is the molecular formula of a gas that has a density of 1.88 g/L at STP? this is not the actual numbers but it would be nice to know how to do this.
