Hello everyone this is for experimental psychology. Basically, it's about data analysis in the program SPSS. My professor wants us to explain which way and test we analyzed our experiment. So the topic is " The effects of sleep deprivation on academic success". Which test in spss would you choose if you compared the number of hours students sleep compared to their Grade Point Average? My professor thinks an ANOVA test might be logical, but why? So basically you are just explaining which test you would choose in SPSS and why you are choosing the test. Please remember what my topic is. My hypothesis is that those who get 7-9 hours of sleep have a better GPA than those who get less than 7 hours of sleep. So which test in SPSS would you choose to analyze this particular topic and why? So what type of analysis would you choose(ANOVA, chi-square, ext...), and why would you choose the test for this topic?
