ABCL is an organization which is the business of personal care which was established in 2010. ABCL is involved in Marketing and Sales. It has captive vendors who manufacture products and supply to ABCL. It takes care of quality aspect which is comparable to international standards. Within nine years, ABCL has grown to company with 8% market share in the segment and turnover of Rs.900 crores. It employs around 700 people. The management of ABCL is aiming at 20% market share with 2000 crores in next five years. In their Top Management meeting they have discussed about the strategy to achieve the targets they wish to reach. To their chagrin they have found that there is an increase in the attrition rate from 7 to 9%. They are also worried about the cut throat competition in the segment and the importance of engaging the employees and retaining them. Management has decided focus on Employee engagement and Retention as top priority and they have requested to CHRO to drive this initiative.

He is given a mandate to

1. To develop Engagement plan ( you can assume that only 13% are actively engaged and 18% are actively disengaged. Rest are not engaged)

2. To develop retention strategies
