You are a consultant who is frequently hired by Fortune 500 companies to help with their employee recruitment drives. The economy is booming and there is a significant labor shortage. You and your team of consultants are ecstatic because you have landed lucrative contracts with Adobe, General Dynamics, and Hilton Hotels to help them attract qualified employees.
You and your team know the best referrals come from employees already working for the company. You decide to launch an internal communication campaign to inform employees about the program and generate some enthusiasm for the friends of employees hiring referral program. You decide to start with an outline of how you hope to achieve your aims which will include:
-A summary of the organizations and businesses engaged. If you don't know, look these up in Google.
-Employee demographics to include income, age, education, skilled workers and so forth
-How is power and communication distributed? For example, is this a top-down hierarchical or horizontal more egalitarian style of company? If you don't know what this means, look it up in Google.
-Most effective styles of disseminating messages based on employee demographics such as e-mail, online video, small group communication, brochures, etc. Rank order these from most effective to least effective.
-What non-monetary incentives you can provide to employees who refer friends who are successfully hired with the companies.
