Define and explain the distinction between a Toxicant, a toxin, and a pollutant. Do these definitions overlap? Look up a product online or while walking through your local grocery store and find out what the active ingredient of a common-use Pesticide treatment is. (You may use products LIKE Raid, but DO NOT use Raid...it is far too common and would likely be chosen by more than half of you guys...choose alternate brands focused on one target organism or family of organisms, like ants or bees, or flying insects, etc.). Discuss the classification of this pesticide as a toxicant or a toxin.

Discuss the Biological effects it has on the primary insect or creature it is used against and how it is metabolized to kill off the organism. Contrast this with any known or theorized harmful effects it could have on humans or our environment. Please back up your data with at least two sources in your initial post.
