There was an admission by NASA that it was no longer able to locate the original recordings of the landing on the moons - they exist but the people who know where they are located are long gone from NASA.

• Perch (1998) notes that NASA has "forgotten" how to put a man on the moon. The Apollo mission documents - millions of pages of plans - have been reduced to microfiche. But the missing is the critical set of plans. Someone threw away the blueprints for the Saturn booster, the only rocket with enough thrust to send a manned lunar payload on its way. The Apollo mission were completed and project directors were moving offices. No other set of Saturn blueprints has been found to date.

Problem 1) Define the concept of Organizational Memory and discuss in detail how it could work better in the case of NASA's management of organizational memory.

Problem 2) Considering the characteristics of tacit and explicit knowledge, how you would do to store and share these two different kinds of knowledge with the applications of knowledge management tools and knowledge sharing approaches in this case.
