Write an internal, informal proposal to the director of marketing about your idea for a blog or new webpage/section. Write as if you are an employee at the company/entity you've chosen.

Remember, for a blog, you'll want to choose focused topics related to the relevant industry that will present interesting information and connect to the company/department in some (more subtle) way; for the webpages, evaluate the company/department's existing page and propose a new, substantive page that would add needed content.

Your web content should add value to the web presence that already exists. Whether you are working on a blog or webpages, you should describe and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the current web presence. 

• Explain current web presence of the company/entity you've chosen
• Explain how your pages will contribute to, and work in conjunction with, the content already available on their site
• Identify the target audience and explain how you will suit the page content to this audience.

You will be evaluated on the following components:

• Format: your report should be formatted according to the conventions of the genre
• Purpose: your report should effectively convey the purpose of the communication and address all of the required elements of the assignment
• Mechanics: your report should adhere to standards of Edited American English and should be error free
