Problem

Use the student you selected from the "Reading Case Studies" in Topic 4 as the basis for this problem. Type word email/letter to the student's family that explains the specific steps you will be taking in your classroom to differentiate instruction so you can best meet the student's needs.

The student I used is Explanation of current reading performance for the student: Student A, a third-grade female, is performing below grade level in reading. Her Lexile Level is between 420-600, indicating that she is reading at a lower level compared to her peers. On a phonics screener, she scored in the 20th percentile, suggesting difficulties with phonics skills. The student struggles with spelling and is unable to read multisyllabic words. When reading aloud, she ignores punctuation marks and sounds robotic. These challenges indicate a need for targeted intervention and support.

The communication should be clear, use family-friendly language, and specify the following:
