Question: Begin this assignment by conducting research on various dimensions of family life. Reflect on your own family and experience with others as well. Complete the Adler assessment found in this week's resources. Try to identify your primary personality priority. This is a great exercise in describing what you need to do by not letting your position or beliefs interfere with your work with clients.
Then, develop a narrated PowerPoint presentation for families in a middle-school setting. Include the stages of the family life cycle and what skills a person must master to successfully move from one stage to the next. Give examples of how a person knows they have mastered the skill. Discuss what effect or difficulty people may have if they do not master the skill at each stage, especially its effect on relationships in their future and future transitions. Consider cultural aspects that influence the family life cycle, especially poverty.
Based on your results from the Adler assessment for your own family, conclude your presentation with a summary of what you learned about your family and sibling relationships (if applicable).
Incorporate appropriate animations, transitions, and graphics as well as speaker notes for each slide. The speaker notes may be comprised of brief paragraphs or bulleted lists and should cite material appropriately.
Support your presentation with at least three scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources may be included.
Length: 12-15 slides (with a separate reference slide)
Notes Length: 100-150 words for each slide
Be sure to submit your Adler assessment with your presentation.
