Suppose that the critical region for a certain test of hypothesis is of the form T greater than or equal to 2.5 and the computed value of T from the data is -2.75. Which, if any, of the following statements is correct?

The answers show that a and b are correct; however, I'm not sure why they are and why c-e are not.

a. H0 should be rejected.
b. the significance level alpha is the probability that, uner HO, T is either greater than 2.75 or less than -2.75
c. The nonrejection region is given by -3.5 is less than T is less than 3.5
d. The nonrejection region consists of values of T abouve 3.5 or below -3.5

The P value of this test is given by the area to the right of T = 3.5 for the distribution of T under HO.
