Compound A is a clear, colorless liquid with a molecular formula of C6H12. Compound A was treated first with ozone then with zinc dust, yeilding compounds, B and C. Compound B gave rise to a molecular ion at m/z=72, and exhibited three signals in its H NMR spectrum, but gave rise to no signal between 8ppm and 12 ppm. Compound C gave rise to a molecular ion at m/z=44 as well as two signals ni teh H NMR, one of whioch appeared as a quartet at 9.1 ppm. Provide structures for A, B, and C.
