Explain A common industrial unit for expressing the concentration of hydrogen peroxide is to state the relative volume of oxygen gas at 0 degrees Celsius as well as 1 atm, produced per volume of hydrogen peroxide solution that decomposes.

For example, when 1 L of a 20-volume (V20) solution of hydrogen peroxide decomposes, 20 L of oxygen gas at 0 degrees Celsius and 1 atm is produced.

a. Compute the concentration of a 27. volume (V27) in units of mass percent.

b. Compute the concentration of a 27. volume (V27) in units of molarity.

Given:

V27 Density at 0 degrees Celsius: 1.026 g/mL

27 mass % density at 0 degrees Celsius: 1.110 g/mL

Pure density at 0 degrees Celsius: 1.471 g/mL
