1. Why is climate change a global rather than a national or a local issue in scope?  Identify ONE distinct factor that contributes to climate change, specifically global warming, and explain what makes this a global challenge, that requires global solutions. 
2. What has been done on a global level to address this problem, and with what effects? Identify ONE distinct action taken by the international community to address the climate crisis, and critically assess the impact(s) of the action (so far).
3. What are the main barriers that get in the way of successful international cooperation and collaboration in the face of this challenge? How might these barriers or obstacles be overcome? Identify ONE distinct obstacle that interferes with successful global collaboration, and explain how the barrier might be overcome.

First, be sure to precisely define key terms like climate change and global warming in your answers and clearly and concisely explain a factor that contributes to the global nature of the crisis.
