This assignment will require students to prepare and submit a PowerPoint (or equivalent software) slide deck which will meet the following two comprehensive learning outcomes:

1. Investigate the influence, and contribution of a religion to contemporary issues in Canada's history, culture, politics, and/or the workplace.

2. Explain how visual arts, ceremony, and ritual express religious beliefs.

Requirements

Students will:

1. Define and explain 4 characteristics of the religion,

2. Explain the contemporary issue in Canadian history, culture, politics, and/or the workplace,

3. Discuss contribution of a religion to the contemporary issue in Canada as outlined in (2), and

4. Use four relevant images in their presentation that represent the religion in question.

• The submission must be in a PowerPoint (or equivalent software) format.
• It must have 10-12 slides, including an introduction, body, conclusion and references slides.
• Ensure all images used are correctly cited.
