An ideal gas mixture containing 65.0 mol% carbon dioxide and 35.0 mol% nitrogen monoxide is to be prepared by allowing gaseous carbon dioxide to fill an evacuated 30.0 L cylinder to a pressure of 2.15 bar. The temperature is 415 K.
(a) What mass of nitrogen monoxide gas NO must then be added to the cylinder to give the desired composition if the volume of the cylinder and temperature remain constant?
(b) What is the total pressure of the final gas mixture?
