camphor is a chiral compound and exists as two enantiomers. we are using a racemic mixture of both enantiomers. however,we draw the structure of only one enantiomer. camphor enantiomers are distinguished by assignment of configuration at carbon 2. (the carbon containing a methyl group adjacent to the carbonyl group.) draw one enantiomer of camphor and label the C-2 carbon as R or S. (write the numbers indicating priority ordering for the four groups attached to carbon 2.)
