For this Assessment Activity, you will be required to read the Fast Track Couriers Pty Ltd Case Study provided as Attachment 1.
You have to established their three (3) business imperatives; 1) objectives, 2) values and 3) standards and then develop a handout for the stakeholders of Fast Track Couriers Pty Ltd outlining the three (3) business imperatives to a range of stakeholders using appropriate media and language.

o Note - Your Assessor will role-play a stakeholder for this activity
o Fast Track Couriers Pty Ltd Case Study provided as Attachment 1.
o Show your draft handout to your Trainer for feedback, incorporate any changes that you think are appropriate, and then submit the finalised handout to your Assessor, as evidence for summative assessment.

During this Assessment Activity, you will be observed by your Assessor demonstrating the following:
• Communicating organisational mission and goals by:
- Clarifying objectives, values and standards in accordance with organisation's strategic direction
- Establishing linkages between organisational objectives, values and standards and the responsibilities of relevant groups and individuals
- Ensuring media and language used is appropriate to individuals and group circumstances
- Stating clear expectations of internal groups and individuals and explain in a manner which builds commitment to the organisation
- Addressing expectations of the organisation
- Investigating incidents promptly and communicate results clearly to relevant groups and individuals

Assessment Activity 1B

For this Assessment Activity, you will be required to write a report outlining how Fast Track Couriers Pty Ltd should influence, support and provide resources for individuals and groups at Fast Track Couriers Pty Ltd.

Your report must include information for Fast Track Couriers Pty Ltd groups and individuals so that they can:
• participate in consultations and decision making processes,
• contribute to innovation and improvements, and
• achieve their responsibilities and objectives.

Show your draft report to your Trainer for feedback, incorporate any changes that you think are appropriate, and then submit the final report to your Assessor, as evidence for summative assessment.

Assessment Activity 1C

Following on from Assessment Activity 1B, for this Assessment Activity, you will be required to facilitate a consultative decision-making process with relevant internal and external stakeholders of Fast Track Couriers Pty Ltd.

This process should focus on:
• continuing professional development of employees at Fast Track Couriers Pty Ltd in the area of new technology in work activities, so that they can develop innovative approaches to the performance of their work, and
• ensuring self-performance and professional competence is continuously improved through engagement in a range of professional development activities

o Note - Your Assessor will role-play a stakeholder for this activity

During this consultative decision-making process, you will also be required to:
• demonstrate ethical conduct and professional competence; and
• encourage others to adopt business ethics and build their commitment to their organisation

To assist you in undertaking this this consultative decision-making process it is recommended that you develop some notes about this process that you can refer to during the consultative decision-making process

o Show your draft notes to your Trainer for feedback, incorporate any changes that you think are appropriate, and then submit the final notes to your Assessor at the conclusion of the consultative decision-making process, as evidence for summative assessment.

Assessment Task 2

Student Information:

• You are to read the following six (6) questions and seek for guidance from your Assessor for clarification, if required.
• Please print your answers for each question on separate sheet, making sure that your Name, your Student ID, Unit Name and Code, Task Number, Question number and Date of submission are included on your answer sheet.
o As this is an "Open Book" Assessment, you may use any material provided to you by your Trainer relating this Unit of Competency or use the Internet to research for a suitable response, however this will require you to identify the source that you have used, at the end of your answer.
• Before submitting your answer sheet please show it to your Trainer for feedback and incorporate any changes you believe are necessary before submitting your final answers to your Assessor as knowledge evidence for summative assessment.
• Your Assessor will deem each answer as either S - Satisfactory or NS - Not Satisfactory.
• In the event that you are deemed NS - Not Satisfactory, you will receive specific feedback from your Assessor and you then will be required re-submit the answer(s) on a separate page. Ensure that your Name, Student ID, Unit Name and Code, Task Number, Question number and Date of submission on your re-submitted answer(s).
• Only when have answered all the questions S- satisfactorily you then will be deemed S - Satisfactory for this Assessment Task.
