Problem- Part 1- Consider a 1.0 L buffer prepared with formal concentrations HCOONa = 0.350 mol/L and HCOOH = 0.550 mol/L. If 5.00 mL of 1.0 mol/L HCl are added, what is the new pH?

Part 2- Find the pH of 100 mL of a 0.30 M sodium acetate solution (pKa = 4.76 for acetic acid) to which 50 mL of 0.20 M HCl has been added.
