Purpose of the assessment

Students are presented with following scenario which requires to complete the associated processes and submit the specified deliverables which are outputs of the different processes.

1. Explain and apply enterprise system's tools and techniques to solve arising business needs.

2. Apply problem solving using different tools and techniques of ERP and execute simple business processes using an ES tool (i.e. SAP)

3. Analyse and develop arguments in relation to an organisation's ERP selection, planning, implementation and ongoing support phases.

4. Assess risk factors associated with an ERP implementation project, and the alternatives for managing risks.

5. Communicate using effective oral and written communication tools, act in a professional manner, be an effective team member or team leader

6. Understand the ICT profession and professional expectations in enterprise systems

Assignment Specification

Purpose:

You have been presented with following scenario which requires you to complete the associated processes and submit the specified deliverables which are outputs of the different processes.

Scenario: GBI, after considerable market research involving, vendors and customers, have realised that there is potential for a new style of bicycle to be developed. Following tasks needs to be conducted using the specifications given in the attached template on BlackBoard.

Task 1 Production Planning: Create the finished product material for the Grand Tourer.
Task 2 Sales and Distribution: Complete the fulfilment process for this Purchase Order.
Task 3 Procurement: Purchase another 20 road helmets.
