With today's technology and the introduction of computers, drones, satellite systems, and smart bombs, the previous war equipment has been made obsolete. The introduction of war equipment can be related to the machine age, where machine was used to replace human labour. The new war machines are now used to replace labour in a war where the machine can kill thousands of people at a time compared to when swords, catapults, and crossbows were used. The machine gun's operator needs not worry about accuracy the way a rifleman must because it can fire as quickly as a team of 500 riflemen.
