Problem- When a acetaldehyde is reacted with three equivalents of formaldehyde under alkaline conditions, followed by treatment with sodium borohydride, the product fromed shows the following spectra data:

IR: broad peak at 3326cm-1

HNMR: siglet at 3.45, siglet at 4.78 (found to be exchangable)

Predict a reasonable structure for this product.
